Non team colors of Air Jordans always have a strong following, especially for older models. The Aquas were worn by MJ in the 1993 NBA All-Star Game. This was also the only colorway of the original Air Jordan VIII to not done in the traditional Chicago Bulls color scheme. It took fifteen long years for these to get retroed and when that happened, people were eager to grab them up. Also these are one of the hardest pairs of original Air Jordans to find in a completely deadstock condition like the one pictured above.
The Nike Air Jordan 8 (VIII) Original (OG) - Aquas (Black / Bright Concord - Aqua Tone) Shoes feature an all black upper constructed from durabuck, along with anti-inversion cross straps, poly carbonate torsion plate, air sole, and an inner sock similar to the Nike Air Huarache. They also feature aqua and purple highlights on the bottom of the she, as well as on the infamous logo on the tongue. These are said to be the heaviest of the Air Jordans, but some say that once you put them on, you dont feel the weight.
